Malang, June 2025 – The Malang District Attorney’s Office has completed Phase 2 of asset restitution in the Evotrade robot trading fraud case, returning Rp 8.4 billion to verified victims.

The funds came from the auction of eight luxury vehicles seized from convict Anang Diantoko, who was sentenced to 2.5 years in prison and fined Rp 4 billion for running the fraudulent scheme through PT Evolusion Perkasa Group. The compensation was distributed via the Victim Protection Association (PPIE) and transferred directly to victims’ bank accounts.

Davidson Samosir, Treasurer of PPIE, confirmed that 1,608 out of 1,678 victims have now received restitution. The final stage—covering remaining victims and assets like property—is expected to follow soon. To date, over Rp 200 billion has been returned, covering 74% of total losses. Victims came from across Indonesia and abroad, with individual losses ranging from Rp 9 million to Rp 10 billion.
